This policy explains what personal information Two Wheels Cafe collects when you order ahead, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Two Wheels Cafe, located inside Bike Depot Leaside at 1588 Bayview Ave, Toronto, Ontario M4G 3B7, is managed by Rift Coffee Inc. We are responsible for the personal information described here. Questions can be sent to contact@twowheelscafe.ca or by phone at 416-342-4112.
What we collect
- Pickup details. Your name, email address and mobile phone number, so we can prepare your order, contact you about it and send your receipt.
- Order details. The items you order, your pickup time, any tip, and the order total.
- Payment. You enter your card (or use Apple Pay or Google Pay) in a secure form provided by Square. Your full card number never reaches our website or our servers. We receive confirmation that the payment succeeded, and Square keeps the payment record.
- Offers and news (optional). If you tick the box or press the sign-up button, we record that you agreed, when, and where, and add you to our email and text list.
- Basic visit statistics. Our site records page views so we can see which pages are used. We do not use advertising cookies, advertising trackers or social media pixels. While you order, your bag is held in your browser for that visit only and is cleared when you close it.
How we use it
- To take, prepare and hand over your order, and to reach you if there is a problem with it.
- To process your payment and send your receipt.
- To keep records for accounting, tax, refunds and disputes.
- To send offers and news by email and text, only if you agreed. We do not sell your information.
Who handles it for us
We use trusted service providers to run the cafe and the website. They process information only to provide their service to us.
- Square processes payments and stores your order, receipt and, if you sign up, your customer record.
- Vercel hosts the website and provides page-view statistics.
- Zoho delivers the receipt emails we send you.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities under local law.
Offers and news, and how to opt out
Agreeing to offers and news is optional and is never a condition of ordering. You can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to any text, or contacting us using the details above. We will stop within 10 business days.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as we need them for the purposes above and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We keep your sign-up details until you withdraw your consent.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Safeguards
Our site is served over an encrypted connection, payment details are handled by Square, and access to customer records is limited to the people who need it to run the cafe. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
